MWA Talent Agency is a community representing models, actors, and musicians in the NYC area. Their grant allowed them to remain open and continue offering their services.

The Castello Plan in Ditmas Park is a neighborhood tapas and cocktail bar. They received a heater grant that allowed them to keep their customers warm and cozy on the outdoor patio.

Seedlings Preschool

Seedlings Preschool in Brooklyn Heights received a heater grant that allowed them to purchase tarps, heaters, and other equipment to allow the children to stay safe and warm outdoors.

Le Paddock

Le Paddock is a French bistro and neighborhood bar in Windsor Terrace. They used their grant to install heaters and create a safe and welcoming outdoor dining terrace.

 

Socceroof

Sunset Park’s Socceroof is well known as a great place for a pick-up game with friends or for a serious soccer tournament, and they have provided a vital source of community. They used their grant to buy heat lamps for the fields.

The Hills

The Hills Restaurant and Bar is a Guyanese restaurant that is well known in the neighborhood for their delicious food, and for looking out for their East Flatbush community. They received a heater grant to keep their backyard usable this winter.

Werkstatt

Prospect Park South’s Werkstatt is a beloved Austrian restaurant which serves comforting sweet and savory fare. They used their heater grant to purchase outdoor heaters and stay operable throughout the winter.

The Rusty Nail

Rusty Nail, a Ditmas Park bar, received a heater grant which allowed them to create a cozy space for neighborhood folks to safely hang out.

 

Kombit

Kombit Bar and Restaurant is a Haitian restaurant that serves tropical cocktails and has imbued the surrounding community with an appreciation of Haitian cuisine. They received a heater grant.

Argana Day Spa

Argana Day Spa is a woman-owned day spa and wellness center in Dyker Heights. With their grant, they were able to rehire staff members and continue providing safe services to the neighborhood.

Brooklyn Brew Cafe

Brooklyn Brew Cafe is a newly opened neighborhood cafe and coffee house, specializing in fun, gourmet drinks. They used their heater grant to create a cozy and warm outdoor space for their customers.

The Bean Post Pub

The Bean Post Pub is a family-owned business serving Bay Ridge for 40 years. The Brooklyn Donates grant allowed them to revitalize their entire space and to keep their doors open during the pandemic.

 

Crystal Lake Brooklyn

Crystal Lake is a Williamsburg bar which received an outdoor heater grant. This bar is well loved for their cocktail and food menus, as well as their gorgeous, antique aesthetic.

Status Q Bar & Billiards

Status Q is a billiards bar that is focused on providing a fun, community hang out spot. Located in the heart of Bay Ridge, they put their grant to good use welcoming the neighborhood back out.

The Ox Tavern

Ox Tavern has been a Ditmas Park favorite for burgers, beers, and delightful specials for a decade. They used their heater grant to maintain and expand their outdoor space.

Los Tres Chiflados

Los Tres Chiflados is a Mexican restaurant on Flatbush Ave., and they received a heater grant to help them stay open for dining throughout the winter.
