Job Description: Brooklyn Donates is seeking the 3rd member of the non profit’s Board of Directors, who will work closely with the co-founders. This person will act as the Treasurer of the Board, conducting regular financial audits of the organization, and contribute to fundraising strategy and efforts.
In order to best uphold our charitable values, Brooklyn Donates board members are not compensated for their work. For this position, expect to attend 3 regular board meetings and 1 annual meeting (August). Although this role does not require an extensive time commitment, it is important that all board members uphold the values and mission of Brooklyn Donates.
Who you are:
A dedicated member of your local community
Someone with experience in a leadership position
Experience creating budgets, bookkeeping, and analyzing financial data
Experience applying for grants / financial assistance
